So I thought I’d change up these posts slightly.
As well as featuring what gift you get with each magazine and how to use it to make fun lunches these posts will now list what recipes / tutorials are included.
Issue 17 came with 3 different crown shaped cutters. The cutters are a little larger than I imagined but will still be useful for lunches!
These cutters can be used like other cookie cutters, to make cookies, but can also be used to cute sliced meats and cheeses, fruit leather and any other thin consumable.
They can also be used on bread to make crown shaped sandwiches. I’d advise cutting each layer in turn as to prevent the bread cutting unevenly.
What recipes are included?
• Disney Princesses’ crown cookies
• Nemo’s stripy jelly slices
• Mr Fredricksen’s bright balloon cake
• Belle’s delightful chocolate drops
• Woody’s sweet dripping “fries”
• Pluto’s macaron mix-up
• Boo’s bedroom cake: part 2
• Making a rainbow layer cake
• Vegetable-based bakes
Remember to come back next week to see what issue 18 includes!!
I would be extremely cautious when it comes to ordering from the Eaglemoss website and where possible I would only buy these magazines in store (as I have been doing).
I ordered a large amount of back copies for some friends in America who cannot get them any other way. I ordered them on the 22/11/13 and paid for next day delivery. Despite numerous calls and emails they haven’t arrived and nor have Eaglemoss made any attempt to fix this issue.
Wow, that’s terrible customer service. Thank you for warning me, I`ll try to get this kit some other way. I`ve never heard of this type of thing, so it`s very exciting!
Yep sadly they haven’t made any effort to improve. They keep saying they will give me a call. They then continue to make posts on Facebook while ignoring my messages.
I hope you’re able to get them 🙂
And now they`ve lost more customers. Well, I’m still looking forward to trying out the product without the pesky middlemen.
Their facebook is sadly littered with complaints. It seems they are unable to keep even the subscribing customers happy. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you and I’ll look forward to seeing what you make 🙂
